Documents: Ensure your passport and visa (if required) are valid for at least 6 months post-return. Carry travel insurance covering medical emergencies and sailing activities. Print or download important documents like air tickets and insurance on your phone.
Currency and Payments: Both Euros and US Dollars are accepted in St. Maarten/St. Martin. Credit cards are widely accepted, but taxis typically require cash. Please bring the cash you will need for your entire stay as some businesses can only accept cash. For gratuities, 10-15% is standard if not included in the bill.
Clothing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing, including sun-protective wear. Bring smart-casual outfits for dining out and a light jacket for cooler evenings.
Footwear: Non-marking boat shoes, water shoes, and sandals are recommended. Avoid high heels.
Sun Protection: High SPF sunscreen, wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and rash guards are essential.
Medications and Toiletries: Bring any personal medications and basic toiletries.
Miscellaneous: Pack a waterproof dry bag, refillable water bottle, insect repellent, sailing gloves (for sailors), and earplugs for light sleepers.
Electrical Items: St. Maarten uses Type E or F outlets; check if you need an adapter. Onboard power is 12 volts.
Beddings, two towels, snorkeling gear (own mask recommended), fishing equipment, adult life jackets, and harnesses. *You need to bring suitable life jackets for children.
Mobile Phones: Check international services with your provider. Keep in touch via WhatsApp.

Wi-Fi: Available at restaurants. Limited onboard access through Starlink.

Arrival: Fly to Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM). WhatsApp us upon customs clearance and take a taxi to St. Maarten Yacht Club (5 minutes away). Meet us at the club's restaurant for dinghy transfer to "Victoria SLV".
Embarkation (Sunday from 1pm): Welcome and safety orientation, sailing briefing, dinner ashore, and
team introduction.
Disembarkation (Sunday from 10am to 11am).
