One of the key benefits of the Swap feature is the flexibility it offers. With Swap, you can easily change your vacation plans without sacrificing your time in your home. Whether you need to adjust your schedule or simply want a change of scenery, Swap gives you the freedom to make it happen.

As an owner, you can mark your booked stays as “Open to swap,” allowing co-owners to see which dates are flexible. If a co-owner is interested in your dates, they can initiate a swap request. Once a swap request is made, both parties have 48 hours to confirm. All SmartStay scheduling rules apply, ensuring a smooth experience.

​Once confirmed, the swap is treated as a regular stay on your calendar. You can modify, cancel, or add guests as usual. The process is anonymous, prioritizing privacy and convenience.

The Swap feature also makes it easier to experience different Pacaso homes. If you own a beautiful retreat in Florida but want to enjoy a stunning getaway in Mexico, you can exchange dates with another Pacaso owner.

Just connect through the app, check their available dates, and send a swap request. Once it's confirmed, you're all set to enjoy a new Pacaso adventure.
